Join us for the 4th edition
Test your paddle boarding skills and challenge yourself and your friends in this fun race.
All ages and abilities welcome, no experience required! You can enter as an individual racer or in a team.
Racers will launch from the put in at the West Fernie Bridge. The finish line will be back at the Stanford Resort.
There will be 3 categories: Men's Competitive, Women's Competitive and Fun Run & Team (includes oversized SUPsquatch).
Transportation from the Stanford to the put in will be provided.
Cost: $35/person (proceeds go to the Fernie Surf Park)
PFD and Helmet are mandatory.
The After Party and Social will take place at The Bridge Bistro at 8:00 pm.

Past floods destroyed the Ghostrider wave, north of Fernie, and since then the concept of having a permanent wave within the community has been talked about by kayakers and surfers.
In 2012 the Fernie Surf Park Society, a not for profit group of volunteers, was created to begin the task of creating a Whitewater Park in Fernie.
Neil Egsgard is the co-founder of Surf Anywhere, a Wave Design and River Surfing consultation firm. Neil started river surfing in 2005 and has since travelled around the world researching wave building & surfing river waves. In 2016, he founded the Alberta River Surfing Association, one of the first river surfing associations.
